New Kazakh action film’s presentation

Almaty, January 15, 2010 (Khabar) - “Who are you, Mr. Ka?” action film will be released in a week with local film legend Asanali Ashimov playing the role of the one who saves the world. There are fight scenes, fire fights, and chases - all the elements of action genre in the film. The main rule of evil being punished was observed as well. The entire film will keep the audience in suspense as to who Mr. Ka is in the reality – a drug lord, a secret agent or simply a random passenger. Asanali Ashimov once again created an image of a hero - a true man with a strong spirit and who is faithful to his duty and honour. The story starts with an unknown aged man returning to his homeland Kazakhstan after being imprisoned in Hong Kong for a good number of years and getting involved in a dangerous game.

- Opinions on the film’s plot, genre and the way of shooting it differed greatly. There were heated disputes over it. However, we reached an agreement by the shooting time and the making of the film turned out to be very smooth.

On the 19th and 21st of January the film premiere will be held in Astana and Almaty respectively. And later, it will take place across the entire country, then Russia and possibly Thailand where some of the episodes were shot in. Also, talks with film distributors from other countries are in progress.
