Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ In 2009, a number of insurants was 556.6 thousand people. Some 63 per cent or 352.1 thousand insurants from total were employees of enterprisers, 36.7 per cent, or 204.5 thousand insurants, were government institutions' emloyees.
Money of MNT 333.8 billion were allocated for people from the social insurance fund, 72.0 per cent of total allocated pensions were for elderly people, 13.4 per cent--for the disabled, 8.0 per cent--for people who lost their foster and 6.6 per cent--for military.
In the year 2009, 1.4 million people received pensions, benefits and assistances totalling MNT 120.1 billion. A number of social welfare service recievers has increased by 7.5 thousand people or 0.6 per cent, the total amount of the allocated fund--by MNT 5.4 billion or 4.7 per cent in against the previous year.
