ALIMI, QIRBI RECEIVE EU AMBASSADORS
SANA'A, June 15 (Saba)- Deputy Premier for Defence AffairsRashad
al-Alimi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on
Saturday with European countries ambassadors to Sana'a.
During the meeting, al-Qirbi confirmed the necessity to advance
cooperation aspects between Yemen and the European Union, boosting
and improving partnership and cooperation ties between them within
framework of the Yemeni-European Dialogue Program to serve common
interests and enable Yemen to complete democratic reforms march as
well as to overcome obstacles of confronting terrorism and combating
poverty.
For his part, Al-Alimi dealt with background of extremist ideas for
rebellion elements and efforts of security and state institutions in
fighting terrorism and investigating its followers.
He made it clear that since the beginning of rebellion the
government opened dialogue doors with rebellion elements and dealt
with them with patience, wisdom and tolerance regarding their
sabotage and criminal acts and gave them number of opportunities
to end rebellion peacefully.
But those elements always denied the agreements, the last was Doha
agreement, and exploited dialogue terms for the purpose of getting
ready for new confrontations, he siad.
