SAUDI CONSULATE IN KANO ORGANIZES BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN

Kano, Nigeria, June 16 (SPA) - The Consul General of the Embassy of
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Kano, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Otaibi
inaugurated here today Blood Donation Campaign on the occasion of
World Blood Donation Day.

He said that this campaign coincides with the World Blood Donation
Day and comes in line with directives of Prince Saud Al-Faisal,
Minister of Foreign Affairs, as it embodies humanitarian concepts and
noble Islamic values maintained by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

For his part, Dr. Wali, Undersecretary of Nigerian Ministry of
Health in Kano praised this campaign of great humanitarian
indications, also commending the Government of the Custodian of the
Two Holy Mosques for its support to the humanitarian aspects.

The Nigerian media participated in the coverage of the campaign.
