Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Snow is expected in western part of western regions and in northern part of eastern regions January 17, in western half of regions January 18, and in some parts of regions January 19.
Winds will get stronger reaching 18-20 m/sec in western regions January 17, in some regions January 18, and in Gobi and steppe regions January 19. The wind will get stronger reaching up to 24 m/sec in some periods accompanied by strong snow storm.
Cold weather will stay in northern part of western and central regions January 18 and in the most regions further. Nighttime's temperature will be -43 -48 near Uvs lake and in the Darkhad depression, in basins of Ider, Tes, Buyant, Baidrag, Kharaa, Yoroo, Orkhon, Selenge, Tuul, Kherlen and Khalkh rivers, the daytime temperature will be -34 -39. In the southern part of Gobi region, the nighttime temperature is to be -18 -23, the daytime -14 -19.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature is -32 -37, the daytime is -27 -32.
