AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN AZERBAIJAN GREW 3, 5 PERCENT IN 2009, PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV

Baku, January 19 (AzerTAc). The agricultural sector in Azerbaijan saw a 3, 5 percent increase through 2009, President Ilham Aliyev said Monday at a Cabinet`s meeting dealing with the outcomes of socio-economic development in 2009. The Head of State described this as an “important indicator”.
President Ilham Aliyev underlined development of the non-oil sector, including the agricultural one in Azerbaijan is the “result of our work”.
