KING, CROWN PRINCE ASPIRE COHESION & COOPERATION AMONG SAUDIS

Riyadh, June 17 (SPA) - Prince Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Governor of
Riyadh region has affirmed that the Saudi wise leadership - the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his
Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, wants Saudi citizens to live in
cohesion, harmony and cooperation.

He affirmed that the Saudi society as a cooperative community,
adding that he had been working in cooperation with sincere and
dedicated citizens for the service of the society.

He made these remarks in an address while patronizing here Sunday
evening a ceremony of honoring the former Minister of Social Affairs
Abdulmohsin bin Abdulaziz Al-Akkas.

The Governor described Al-Akkas as an old friend and highlighted his
cooperation in carrying out all missions that had been delegated to
him.

Referring to the new Minister of Social Affairs Dr.Yousuf bin Ahmed
Al-Othaimeen, Prince Salman described him as "a dear old friend," and
hoped that cooperation would continue with him in all his assigned
works in future.

Later, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz handed over a memorial gift to
Al-Akkas.

The function was attended by Dr Salih bin Humaid, the Chairman of
the Shoura (Consultative) Council, and a number of princes and senior
officials.
