ROLLS-ROYCE OPTIMISTIC OF SELLING 8-10 CARS IN M`SIA THIS YEAR

PETALING JAYA (Malaysia), Jan 27 (Bernama) -- Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in
Kuala Lumpur is optimistic of selling between eight and 10 cars locally this
year as demand for the luxury car was picking up.

Managing Director Michael Ong said Rolls-Royce cars continued to draw
interest from among the affluent class.

" We are talking to a number of people right now and they are quite keen on
the new model, the Rolls-Royce Ghost," he told reporters on the sidelines of an
exclusive preview of the new four-door super-luxury saloon car Wednesday.

The smaller model is the first in a new Rolls-Royce model series, separate
from the Phantom family which comprises Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase,
Phantom Drophead Coupe and Phantom Coupe.

Ong said the company planned, in future, to bring the entire range of
Rolls-Royce cars into Malaysia.

Currently, there are about 180-200 Rolls-Royce cars in Malaysia, he said.
