GTP: PEOPLE BENEFIT THE MOST FROM TRANSFORMATION
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian government is putting the
interest of the people first, through its transformation programme, while
ensuring they benefit from the country's development.
Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak said the transformation will be
approached in a radical new way to ensure fast fundamental changes in the
country.
Najib said although there will be unavoidable challenges, the government
will continue to deliver its best to accomplish the transformation, thus
achieving the goals of Vision 2020.
" This will be done working hand-in-hand with the people, private sector,
social sector and all segments of society," he said in his foreward contained in
the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) Roadmap.
The government, he said, will update the people frequently on the roadmap
and release an annual report in the first-quarter of next year.
" In the annual report, I will share the progress made on implementation,
celebrate successes, be transparent about targets missed and reveal our action
plan to get back on track where needed," he added.
