SAMSUNG OPENS FIRST DIGITAL CENTRE IN EAST MALAYSIA

KUCHING (Malaysia), Jan 29 (Bernama) -- Samsung Malaysia Electronic Sdn Bhd
(Samsung) has opened its first Digital Centre in East Malaysia here, to meet the
growing demand from consumers in the Sarawak state.

Samsung has picked CL Khoon Trading Sdn Bhd, a local electrical dealer, to
promote the Digital Centre. It will showcase a complete range of products from
mobile phones,audio visual,digital imaging,home appliances and Information
Technology (IT) products.

Samsung Sales Vice-President Chan Lock said by having a number of the
company's products under one-roof, customers need not drive to other places to
find one that meets their needs.

"We believe a visit to the Samsung Digital Centre will be an eye opener," he
said at the opening of the centre Friday.
