Chairman of Allegiance-Pledge Commission delivers statement
Doha, June 19 (SPA) - Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the
Chairman of Allegiance-Pledge Commission has commended brotherly
relations existing between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar in
various fields, thanks to the leadership of the Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his brother,
Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, looking forward that
the next stage will witness further enhancement of relations, growth
and development.
In a press statement, Prince Mishaal affirmed that Saudi-Qatari
relations are witnessing further rapprochement between the two
countries at all official and popular levels, pointing out that the
exchange of visits between senior officials in Doha and Riyadh will
effectively contribute to further deepening of the brotherly ties
within the bilateral framework or system of Gulf Cooperation Council
States.
He praised comprehensive progress witnessed by Qatar in all fields, particularly in infrastructure sectors highlighting the Qatari leadership's keenness and quest to upgrade the state to the ranks of modern and developed countries. He congratulated the Qatari people for the great and remarkable achievements confirming the importance of development and keeping abreast of the era.
Prince Mishaal expressed his appreciation for a warm welcome and
generous hospitality accorded to him during his current visit as well
as Qatar's keenness on supporting and enhancing brotherly relations
with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that he will convey Qatari good
and kind feelings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the
government and people of the Kingdom.
The Chairman of Allegiance-Pledge Commission stressed the support of the two countries for their blessed march patronized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his brother, Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, also emphasizing their aspiration for closer ties and love under the same destiny and joint Gulf action.
He congratulated the peoples of the two brotherly countries for
starting application of transferring with the identity card between
the two countries, hoping that such steps will positively be
reflected in the march of the GCC to achieve the objectives of its
unity and integration of member states.
