Laos furthers cooperation on medicine with French universities
VIENTIANE, 29 FEB-(KPL) The Health Science University of Laos has signed six agreements on academic and scientific cooperation with four medical universities of France and a medical university of Vietnam to strengthen the existing cooperation and development of medicine.
The documents were signed by the President of the Lao Health Science University, Dr. Som-ock Kingsada and a representative of the six universities of health science, Mr. Lionel Collet.
The development partner universities that have inked a cooperation agreement with the Health Science University of Laos include University Claude Bernard - Lyon 1, Montpellier 2, Strasbourg, Pierre and Marie Curie in Paris and Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Vietnam.
The signing ceremony was held at the International Conference and Training Centre, on 27 January which was witnessed by Minister of Public Health, Dr Ponemek Daraloy.
