CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Wednesday's cabinet meeting decided to grant a Russia-made jeep "UAZ 396292" to a hospital of Dundgobi aimag's Erdenedalai soum in order to have it render medical aid and services to herdsmen who are paasing the wintering on remoted pastures.
- Deputy Premier and head of the State Emergency Commission (SEC) M.Enkhbold said a situation in 65 soums of Arkhangai, Bayankhongor, Bayan-Olgii, Gobi-Altai, Dundgobi, Ovorkhangai, Omnogobi, Zavkhan, Tov, Khovd, Khovsgol and Uvs aimags has entered the disaster level, in 68 soums has entered the level of zud. He was told to allot money from the donation account of the SEC for expense of delivering relief goods to herdsmen and to control over the utilization.
- The cabinet did not approve a draft law on casino initiated by D.Zagdjav, Z.Altai, B.Batbayar, G.Bayarsaikhan, R.Bud, D.Kyokushuzan Batbayar, Kh.Jekei, D.Khayankhyarvaa, Ts.Tsengel and J.Enkhbayar MPs.
- In accordance with the law on control over tobacco and a proposal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the "Global bridge" and the "Khangaluun trade" LLCs were granted licenses to import tobacco.
- A draft law on ratifying an amendment to the charter of the International Labor Organization (ILO) was backed. The ILO charter was amended in June 9, 1997, at the 85th Session of the International Labour Conference. The draft law will be submitted to the State Great Khural.
- A draft program was backed on activities of educational sphere for overcoming financial and economic difficulties. It will be submitted to parliament.
- A decision was made to establish a museum named "Khoshoo tsaidam" to save, protect and propagandize rare items and findings belonging to history and culture of the Turkic Empire which existed in territory of Mongolia. The museum will be located in the Orkhon Valley, Khashaat soum, Arkhangai aimag.
- The government approved an inter-governmental contract on cooperation in tourism sector between Mongolia and Israel which was signed September 8, 2009 in Jerusalem.
- The Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt introduced a preliminary execution of Mongolia's master budget in 2009.
- The government decided to allot money from the reserved fund for organizing an economic forum to be held February 8-9 in Ulaanbaatar.
- A governmental resolution was issued on taking aviation fuel from the state reserved fund in connection with a delay of supply of the fuel from Russia.
- Passenger flights will be performed until May 1 to Khovd aimag's Bulgan soum due to the worsening overwintering in some soums of Khovd and Bayan-Olgii aimags.
