Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Some horse-race trainers of Bulgan aimag will be granted titles of foremost horse-trainer in accordance with order of the aimag's governor.
In accordance with results of a selection of the best ones, the title will be bestowed upon 15 trainers from Gurvanbulag, Dashinchilen, Rashaant, Saikhan, Buregkhangai, Mogod, Teshig, Bayannuur, Bugat and Khangal soums. They will be awarded on the first day of the first month of this year in accordance with the Lunar calendar.

The aimag's governor decided to visit people aged above 90 and present gifts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year. By statistical data, Bulgan aimag has 6,000 seniors, of whom 74 ones are ninety years old. A majority of them or 17 live in Bulgan soum. The oldest, 102-year J.Tsend lives in Bulgan soum.

Saikhan soum counted the biggest number of livestock in 2009 in the aimag. It has 284,880 heads. The number of heads of livestock increased by 5.7 per cent against 2008. Bactrian-camel increased 66.3%, cow--by 12.2%, sheep--by 8.7 and goat--by 1.5%.
This soum also became a leader in number of horses despite a decreased by 1,140 heads against 2008.
