Forum of Leading Economics begins discussions in Seoul

TOKYO, June 21 (Itar-Tass) -- Two-day discussions on problems of
energy security and climate change have begun in Seoul on Saturday within the framework of the Forum of Leading Economics.

Sixteen countries of the world: Great Britain, Italy, Canada, Russia,
the United States, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Brazil, India,
Indonesia, China, Mexico, South Africa and South Korea take part in the
meeting.

The meeting participants will focus on the issue of long-term plans to
reduce emissions causing global warming in the atmosphere.

The forum was created in September 2007 on the initiative of the
United States.
