S.BATBOLD INTERVIEWED BY BLOOMBERG

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Premier of Mongolia S.Batbold gave an interview to a reporter of the Bloomberg during the Economic Forum of Mongolia that started Monday in Ulaanbaatar.
Mentioning about many countries who spent idly their mineral resources, the reporter asked the Prime Minister about plans of Mongolia to reach success in mineral sector.
"As a matter of fact, it is important to study others' mistakes. In frames of all issues regarding mineral resources, a government's position, policy and direction are vitally important in any country. In order to determine the direction, our government is sharing views with foreign investments and experts. The main agenda of the forum focuses on these issues," Batbold said.
He noted that Mongolia possesses several strategic mineral deposits that are to improve living standards of people and to promote the country's development.
The Premier said Mongolia will prioritize its people' interests when it comes to realize a project of exploiting the Tavan tolgoi mineral deposit and will establish contracts with foreign countries.
