Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The number of infectious disease cases were 2.4 thousand decreasing 20.0 percent or 592 cases againstc January of 2009, the National Statistics Commission says.
As January of 2010, the total number of confirmed cases of the influenza A/H1N1 virus was 61. Out of them, 9 cases or 14.8 percent are recorded in Ulaanbaatar city, 52 cases or 85.2 per cent were in local areas. In Uvurkhangai was 23 cases or 37.7 percent, in Orkhon 10 cases or 16.4 percent, in Dundgobi 9 cases or 14.8 percent, in Darkhan-Uul 6 or 9.8 percent, in Tuv 3 or 4.9 percent and 1 case or 1.6 percent recorded in Dornogobi.
