ULAN-UDE TO ORGANIZE FORUM OF WORLD MONGOLIANS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Ulan-Ude city of the Russian Federation will host this year the Forum of World Mongolians. In connection with this, a working group has been set up to discuss organization of the forum.
According to a plan issued by the Cultural Ministry of Russia's Buryat Republic, a concert will be given by artists and singers of Mongolia, Russia's Buryatia and Kalmykia and China's Inner Mongolia. Every country will organize their fairs as well.
A book named "Myths of down country" will be issued with samples of popular oral literature of world Mongolians and biographies of famous people, including B.Rinchen, Ts.Damdinsuren, Ondor Gegeen Zanabazar, the 8th Jebtsundamba Khutuktu, Gongor--the tallest ever man in Mongolia; Namkhai, a champion of national wrestling; state figures such as K.Ilyumjinov, a president of Russian Kalmykia and of FIDE; Inner Mongolian scholar Saishaalt.
Buryatia is going to erect a Mongolian cultural palace in its Ulan-Ude city. The palace will provide people with daily newspapers, movies and books of Mongolia.
