BTN PLANS TO ISSUE 14TH BONDS



Jakarta, Feb 19 (ANTARA) - State-owned Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BTN) plans to issue its 14th bonds worth Rp2 trillion in the first half of this year.

"The plan to issue the bonds accords with the bank's 2010 business plan approved by its general shareholders meeting," BTN Treasury Director Saut Pardede said here on Friday.

He said BTN had appointed PT. Mandiri Sekuritas, PT. Bahana Securities and PT. Indo Premier Securities as bond issue underwriters with PT Bank Mega Tbk and Sutjipto, SH, M. Kn respectively as a trustee agent and notarial public.

"Since 1989 the bank has 13 times issued senior bonds. In 2004 it issued subordinated bonds," he said.

In total, the bank has issued Rp6.350 trillion worth of bonds, including outstanding bonds worth Rp3.250 trillion.
