SOCAR PRESIDENT MEETS HEAD OF POLISH NATIONAL SECURITY BUREAU
Baku, February 20 (AzerTAc). SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev met visiting head of the Polish National Security Bureau Aleksander Szczyglo.
Abdullayev praised the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland saying it also creates good opportunities for partnership in energy sector.
He briefed Szczyglo on the ongoing energy reforms in his country.
Abdullayev noted Azerbaijan prefers diversification of the energy routes.
According to him, SOCAR is cooperating with Europe`s leading companies including Polish Lotos and Orlen ones.
Szczyglo said friendly relations between two countries also contribute to developing regional cooperation.
He hailed Azerbaijan`s accomplishments in energy sector, saying the country plays significant role in ensuring Europe`s energy security.
