Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Sukhbaatar aimag has announced 2010 as the year of "Promoting rights of consumers" in accordance with a resolution issued by the Citizens' Representative Khural of the aimag.
The aimag's administration will organize measures such as ensuring a realization of the national program of protecting consumers' interests, and plans a month-campaign for consumers by attracting NGOs.

The Index-based Livestock Insurance Program (IBLIP) is being implemented in Sukhbaatar aimag from the previous year.
The IBLIP has covered 273 families that account for four per cent of the aimag's 6,800 herdsmen. Herdsmen from Dariganga, Tumentsogt and Erdenetsagaan soums are the most active ones.
By the way, the IBLIP is cooperating with insurance companies of Mongolia such as "Mongol Daatgal", "Prime Daatgal", "Bodi Daatgal" and "Practical Daatgal".

Administration of Shiliin Gol aimag's Zuun Uzemchin banner of China's Inner Mongolia has rendered assistance to Sukhbaatar aimag's herdsmen with food of CNY 40 thousand.
Sukhbaatar aimag's governor J.Batsuuri has received the relief goods at the "Bichigt" checkpoint which borders Shiliin Gol aimag.
