Pakistan reaffirms commitment to resolve Kashmir issue in accordance with Kashmiri


Islamabad, June 25 PPI: Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to resolve Kashmir issue in accordance with aspirations of Kashmiri people.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi while talking to visiting All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC from Indian Held Kashmir) delegation led by its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and including Abdul Ghani Bhatt and Bilal Ghani Lone here on Wednesday.

Qureshi apprised APHC leaders of his talks with Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee in Islamabad last month. He said there was complete political consensus in Pakistan in support of Kashmir cause and Kashmiri people must be associated in dialogue process.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said Pakistan government's invitation to APHC leadership to visit Pakistan signifies importance Islamabad attaches to wishes of Kashmiri people in search for just and peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.

APHC leaders briefed Qureshi on the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
