REGULAR MEETING HELD

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia (MCA-M) Technical and Vocational Education and Training Project in cooperation with its sub-project on Policy and Operational Framework Reform (POFR) organized a regular meeting of the National Council on Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) in Ulaanbaatar hotel conference hall February 25, 2010.
NCVET was established in order to support and manage the development of TVET system that is driven by market demands and supportive of Public and Private Partnership. The current meeting involved all members of NCVET, MCA-M TVET project team and specialists from POFR sub-project.
During this third meeting, NCVET Sector Councils for Construction, Mining and Food processing were established each composed of eight members who equally represent both private and public sectors. Moreover, issues were discussed including NCVET Action Plan for 2010, Vocational Education and Training Promotion Fund guidelines, NCVET logo and website presentation.
