PHOTOGRAPHER COLLECTING 1,000 BOOKS FOR CHILDREN IN MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Around 1,000 books are to be sent to Mongolian children as an event to source the material has been set up by a photographer from Belbroughton in England.
Tom Doyle has organised the collection - taking place on March 6th - and hopes to amass a wealth of book donations, reports the Stourbridge News.
It is part of a wider appeal - a project entitled Bookbridge - that aims to accumulate 45,000 English children's reading and picture books to send to three education centres in the Asian country.
Mr Doyle, a UK ambassador for the scheme - who wishes to travel to Mongolia to photograph the handover in action - said: "Every little helps, so even if you only have one or two children's story books to donate, it will help the cause and children in Mongolia will benefit."
Bookbridge hopes that by equipping young Mongolian school children with an array of English books, the pupils will be able to learn a foreign language and increase their chances of success in a professional career.
