NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF AZERBAIJAN TO TURKMENISTAN PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT
Baku, February 25 (AzerTAc). Newly appointed Azerbaijani ambassador to Turkmenistan Vahdat Sultanzade presented his credentials to this country`s President Gurbangulu Berdimahammadov.
Turkmen leader congratulated the Ambassador and wished him success. Mr. Berdimahammadov asked Ambassador to convey his warm greetings to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The head of state said when he used to be an official of the Embassy, Mr. Sultanzade made a lot to expand relations between the two countries.
Ambassador said a book of the classic of Turkmen literature Molla Nafas was published in Azeri language.
Issues of education, science, culture and art were also in the focus of meeting.
