UAE, Algeria sign five Memoranda of Understanding
Algiers, June 26 (WAM) - The UAE and Algeria yesterday signed five memoranda of understanding on cooperation in the areas of fishing, sustainable development, environmental protection, hunting, quarantine and youth and sports programmes.
Economy Minister, Sultan bin Saeed Al-Mansouri, signed the agreement for the UAE, while Algerian Finance Minister Karim Juodi, also signed for his side.
The two ministers stressed on the need for continuous contact and
coordination between the two sides to further boost economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries.
In a statement after signing the agreements, Al-Mansouri said the outcome of the joint committee and the bilateral meetings would reflect positively on relations of trade and investment between the two countries, adding that the understanding reached needs follow-ups by the two sides to ensure rapid implementation.
