PASIRJAMBU LANDSLIKE VICTIMS NOW 35
Bandung, Indonesia, March 3 (ANTARA) - The number of victims in the Gunung Tilu Nature Preserve, Waringin mountain range, Kampung Dewata, Tenjolaya village, Pasir Jambu subdistrict, Ciwidey, Bandung regency, has increased to 35.
The police said Wednesday night that two more victims namely Ratna binti Titi ( 25) and Ida binti Ade (25) had been discovered.
"The two victims were unearthed on Tuesday by volunteers using heavy equipment," the police said.
While the digging had been officially stopped on Monday, the heavy equipment and volunteers were still in the site of the landslide.
Minus the freshly unearthed victims, 9 victims were still buried in the mud.
According to data of the West Java Natural Disaster Eradication Agency, the number of missing persons reached 44, consisting of 12 male, 20 female and 12 children.***
