POLICE DETAIN FOUR DEMONSTRATORS
Jakarta, March 3 (ANTARA) - Police have detained four demonstrators on charges of inciting chaos outside the parliament building on Wednesday, a spokesman said.
They were arrested when demonstrators clashed with the police, Chief of the Islamic Students Association (HMI) M Chozin Amirullah said.
The four were identified as M Natsir (HMI), M Widiansyah, Teguh Utomo , and Luthon Th Daulay.
Chozin said the four were being detained at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim).
"One of our cadres, namely Mochtar is still being detained at Bareskrim," he said.
He said four of his cadres suffered light injuries after police officers fired rubber bullets at them.
"I have checked (with the police) that none of the HMI cadres died," he said.***
