POLICE SEIZES 797 ECSTASY PILLS AND 400 GRAMS OF SABU

Makassar, Mar 6 (ANTARA) - East Makassar police caught a drug dealer and confiscated 797 ecstasy pills and 400 grams if methyl amphetamine (sabu-sabu) hidden in his house.

"The police seized hundreds of ecstasy pills and 400 grams of sabu-sabu from the house of he perpetrator, RN, at Jalan Nuri Baru," spokesman for Southwest Sulawesi Senior Commissioner Hery Subiansauri said here Saturday.

Besides 797 pink Micky ecstasy pills and the 400 grams of sabu the police also seized two digital scales,two rolls of aluminium foil, and two Nokia cell phones.

He said RN was arrested when a customer, Alfred, came to his house to buy ecstasy pills, not knowing the police was already surrounding his home.

"In the raid, the two tried to escape after they saw the police from a CCTV at the house," he said
But the drug dealer and his customers were eventually arrested, he said.
