SENIOR CITIZEN SURFS FACEBOOK WHILE FLOATING AT SEA

ALOR GAJAH (Malaysia), March 6 (Bernama) -- The next time you log into
social networking site Facebook, you might want to check out 66-year-old Dion
Bakar's profile.

The senior citizen, whose real name is Abu Bakar Mohamad, has the ability
to shares his life experiences on the website while keeping himself afloat at
sea.

"I would like to share my experiences with the younger generation and give
them motivation," he told reporters here Saturday.

In a demonstration at 11am which lasted almost an hour, Melaka-born Dion
stayed afloat in the water while surfing Facebook, speaking on the phone and
reading a newspaper.

The former pilot said he received education from a pondok school(traditional
school) in Demak, Central Java, Indonesia when he was 10 years old and it was
there he learned how to float.

Dion, who is currently working with a member of the east coast Malaysian
state of Pahang royalty, claimed that he had successfully stayed afloat in
waters near Pulau Jawa (Jave Island) for three days.

In addition to that, multi-lingual Dion also has several films under his
belt having acted in a Hollywood film titled Beyond Rangoon and local films such
as Bisikan Cinta and Driving School, as well as gracing the cover of Malaysia's
Her World magazine in 1977.
