LAMPUNG`S EXPORTS TO EUROPE DOWN 38 PCT
Bandarlampung, Indonesia, March 7 (ANTARA) - Lampung province's non-oil/gas exports to the European Union in 2009 fell 38.23 percent to US$943.6 million from a year earlier on low demand.
By volume the province's non-oil/gas exports to the 27-nation bloc last year declined 34.77 percent compared to the year before, according to data from the Lampung provincial industry and trade office made available on Sunday.
The data show the declining prices of a number of export commodities were also responsible for the drop.
The European market for Lampung's non-oil/gas exports included the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Britain, Ireland, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain and Greece.***
