Atyrau, 28 June 2008, Khabar - The Atyrau archeologists and historians will carry out large expedition in the region. They will cover over 5 000 km in framework of "Cultural Heritage" program.
They will study the condition of over 370 architectural monuments, and prepare their technical characteristics. There will be much work in Makhambet district.
"Nur Otan" party decided to hold round-table meeting in this district on the eve of coming of expedition. They spoke about uniting of efforts of scientists and
local power to repair 132 historical monuments. First of all Saraishik
ancient town must be repaired that was on the Great Silk Way in ancient time. (Khabar Agency)
