Bengkulu, Mar 8 (ANTARA) - The Bengkulu AIDS Eradication Commission (KPA) has asked all hospitals in Bengkulu to have a Volunteer Counseling Test (VCT) facility to prevent the high rate of the spread of HIV/Aids in the region.
Bengkulu KPA secretary Arna Maretha said here Tuesday that the fatal disease has spread to 10 regencies/cities in Bengkulu.
She said the establishment of KPA in the 10 regencies/cities would not be effective without the VCT facility.
In the meantime, member of the M Yunus hospital's CVT team dr Yusdi said Bengkulu has now only one VCT facility at the hospital.
