INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT REACHES 266.2 BILLION TOGROG
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ In the first two months of 2010, the total industrial output reached MNT 266.2 billion demonstrating an increase of 17.0 per cent or MNT 38.7 billion at 2005 constant prices, compared with the same period of the previous year.
Against the previous year, 17.0 per cent increase in output of the industrial sector reflected increases of products such as copper concentrate with 35%, molybdenum concentrate with 47%, zinc concentrate, flour spar concentrate, coal, crude oil, meat, flour, alcoholic beverage, wine, beer, copper 99%, metal foundries and steel casting. In the first two months of 2010, products manufactured in industrial sector of MNT 507.3 billion at current prices was sold to the domestic and foreign markets.
In the first two months of 2010, the total value of construction and installation work was MNT 3.9 billion. Of which, 66.3 per cent or MNT 2.6 billion were executed by domestic entities, and 33.7 per cent or MNT 1.3 billion by foreign entities.
