CRIMES IN STATISTICS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The total number of crimes committed in the first 2 months of 2010 estimated at 3,175 decreasing 191 crimes or 5.7 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.
However, some types of offences were increased, particular crime against the right of ownership, crime against environmental protection rules, crime against judicial procedure, crime against child, family and social morality and crime against economic entity.
By location the crime committed, 38.9 percent occurred in living residence (gers or apartments), 18.0 per cent in the street, 14.2 per cent in public organizations, 1.3 per cent in public transport, 2.7 per cent in government agencies, 2.1 per cent in non-government agencies, 4.4 per cent in economic entity, 4.5 per cent in road and 13.9 per cent in other places.
