MAGNITUDE 7 EARTHQUAKE SHAKES NORTH MALUKU
Jakarta, March 14 (ANTARA) - A magnitude 7 earthquake shook North Maluku province on Sunday at 7.57 am local time, but the tremor did not have a potential to trigger a tsunami.
The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) disclosed that the tremor was located 1.58 degrees south latitude and 128.20 east longitude at a depth of 56 kilometers.
The quake's epicenter was located 132 km southeast of Labuha, North Maluku, 227 km northeast of Ambon, and 252 km northeast of Sanana, Maluku.***
