TWELVE ACTION RALLIES PLANNED IN JAKARTA TODAY



Jakarta, Mar 18 (ANTARA) - Twelve action rallies will be staged in different locations in Jakarta on Thursday, especially in Central Jakarta and South Jakarta.

The Traffic Management Center (TMC) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police said Thursday morning the two action rallies would be staged from 10 am to 5 pm local time.

Two demonstrations will be launched in front of the Constitutional Court at Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta, starting from 10 am.

A similar action was also planned in front of the Judicial Commission (KY) office at Jalan Kramat Raya, Central Jakarta, from 10 am to 11 am.

A demonstration will also be launched in front of the Jakarta City Hall and the Jakarta City Council (DPRD) at Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, at 10 am to 1 pm.

An action rally will also be staged in front of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) at Jalan Latuharhary, Central Jakarta, from 10 am to 2 pm.

A similar action will also be staged in front of the Indonesian Telecommunications Regulation Agency (BRTI) at Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, from 10 am to 4 pm, and in front of the head office of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina and the Ministry of State Enterprises at Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, 10.30 am till noon.

Other locations where similar action rallies were also planned are Jalan HR Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, in front of the Australian Embassy at 10.30 am, and in front of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) from 11 am till 1 pm.

A similar action will also be launched in front of Indocement Building at Jalan Sudirman and in front of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and House of Representatives (DPR) buildings at Jalan Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta from noon til 3 pm.

The last one, will be in front of the State Palace at Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Central Jakarta, from 4 pm to 5 pm.
