INDONESIAN CULTURE DISPLAYED IN POLAND

Jakarta, Mar 18 (ANTARA) - The economic potentials and religious diversity in Indonesia were on display in Indonesian Days in Byalistok, northeast of Poland, the Indonesian embassy in Warsaw said.

Spokesperson for the Indonesian embassy Any Muryani disclosed Wednesday that the Indonesian cultural exhibition managed to foster brotherhood between Indonesian and Polish muslims, especially the ethnic Tartars in Byalistok.

The Indonesian Days is a theme chosen by the Association of Muslims in Poland on the occasion of Islamic Cultural Day.

Indonesian Days included lectures, an Indonesian photo display, and Indonesian food demonstration, music concert and traditional cultural show.

During the event, the Indonesian ambassador in Warsaw gave a presentation on Indonesian economic potentials and bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Poland, at the Business Club in Byalistok, and on cultural diversity at the Islamic Cultural Center.
