Injured Gambhir out of IPL match against CSK

New Delhi, Mar 18 (PTI) The Delhi Daredevils have been
dealt a huge blow ahead of Friday's Indian Premier League
match against Chennai Super Kings as skipper Gautam Gambhir
has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
"He is going for a scan to see how bad it is. Once we
assess him, only then we will know how long he will be out
for. It's reasonably serious and he won't play tomorrow," said
the team's assistant coach Eric Simmons.
"We don't know how bad it is at this stage," he added.
Gambhir injured himself during Wednesday night's match
against Mumbai Indians and was on the field for barely 10
minutes during the 98-run loss Delhi suffered.
Dinesh Karthik will captain the side in Gambhir's
