NO DIVIDENDS FOR XL SHAREHOLDERS THIS YEAR
Jakarta, March 19 (ANTARA) - Publicly-listed cellular phone operator PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) decided at its annual shareholders meeting on Friday not to pay dividends this year.
The company would use its last year's net profit of Rp1.709 trillion to finance its business expansion, XL President Director Husnul Suhaimi said.
The 2009 net profit would be recorded in the retained earning account to support the business expansion, he said.
The meeting also agreed on a change in the lineup of the company's board of directors and accepted Joris de Fretes' resignation as a member of the board of directors.***
