PKS CADRES BURN ISRAELI FLAGS

Gorontalo, March 21 (ANTARA) - Thousands of Justice and Prosperity Party (PKS) sympathizers here on Sunday burned Israeli flags in protest against the Jewish state's aggression on Al Aqsa Mosque.

"We condemn Israel's aggression on Al Aqsa Mosque and ask the Indonesian government to urge the UN to take prompt action," chief of the party's Gorontalo provincial executive board Abdurahman Bacmhid said in his oration.

He said the Palestinian people had been suffering most from the Israel's inhuman aggression and now was the time for Indonesia to help them.

He also asked Muslims in Gorontalo province to pray for the Palestinians who continue to face Israeli oppression.
