RALLY AT POLICE HQ DURING SUSNO'S QUESTIONING

Jakarta, Mar 22 (ANTARA) - An action rally will be staged in front of the National Police Headquarters on Jalan Trunojoyo, South Jakarta, Monday, most likely concurrently with the time of the questioning of former chief detective General Commissioner Susno Duadji.

The Traffic Management Center (TMC) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police said Monday morning the action rally in front of the Police Headquarters was scheduled at 2 pm local time.

But TMC did not say what group will be staging the demonstration.

In the meantime, Susno was slated for questioning by the Police Profession and Safeguarding Division starting at 9 am.

Susno had promised to attend the questioning in relation to his report to the Law Mafia Eradication Task Force on brokerage practices allegedly involving a number of high-ranking police officers.

Besides in front of the National Police Headquarters, a number of some other places in Jakarta will also become the locations of similar rallies, such as the State Enterprises Ministry, City Hall, the Jakarta Legislative Assembly (DPRD), General Election Commission (KPU), Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and the Hotel Indonesian traffic circle.

Different rallies are slated to be staged at different hours from 9 am to 2 pm.
