MONGOLIA'S AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Norway B.Enkhmandakh presented last Thursday his diplomatic credentials to the King of Norway Harald V.
At the meeting held after the ceremony, the dignitaries discussed issues of Mongolia-Norway relations and cooperation and culture and custom of their countries. The Ambassador conveyed a greeting of Mongolia's State Head to the King, and gave him an invitation to visit Mongolia.
The Ambassador expressed his confidence that the recently opened Mongolia's Embassy to Scandinavia will significantly contribute to expanding the bilateral relations and cooperation. He underlined that Mongolia wants to study Norway's developmental experiences and expressed his opinions on the bilateral collaboration in the mining, food, agriculture and production with investments from Norway, on enhancing opportunities for the Mongolians to study in Norway and on implementing the students exchange programs.
In turn, His Majesty Harald V mentioned that he has heard about Mongolia from Crown Prince Haakon and his friends who had visited Mongolia, and expressed his hope that the bilateral relationship and cooperation will widen.
The Ambassador said he will make all efforts to expand and strengthen the bilateral friendly ties and collaboration with a support from the His Majesty and the Norwegian government.
