SEEKING FEASIBILITY TO IMPLEMENT PROMISES OF POLITICAL PARTIES
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ President Ts.Elbegdorj issued an order based on the clauses 3.3rd and 17.6th of the Law on the President of Mongolia.
In accordance with the Order, a working group is set up to draw up optimal versions of solution and draft resolution to implement MPRP’s promise to give MNT1.5 million and DP’s promise to give one million togrog to every citizen, made during parliamentary election campaign in 2008, and to submit them to the Government and parliament for approval. The President has met with members of the group and handed the order to them.
The working group is headed by N.Enkhbold, Deputy Parliament Speaker. G.Batkhuu, Deputy Parliament Speaker, will be a deputy head of the group, which comprises several MPs such as D.Dondog, head of MPRP Group in parliament, and L. Gantomor, deputy head of DP Group in parliament; T. Gandi, Minister for Social Welfare and Labor; S.Bayartsogt, MP and Minister for Finance; U.Khurelsukh, MPRP secretary-general;
D.Erdenebat, DP secretary-general; and P.Tsagaan, advisor to the President of Mongolia.
Elbegdorj said,“Considering entire potentiality, we need to mobilize all our powers for fulfilling promises given to citizens. For parliament, Government and even President, there are a lot of plans to fulfill this promises.
"The sides should collaborate making own plans and bringing them into a discussion at the working group to unite. I hope that we can reach an agreeable solution.”
