INDONESIAN GETS 7 YEARS IN JAIL IN MALAYSIA

Kuala Lumpur, Mar 22 (ANTARA) - An Indonesian construction worker in Malaysia was sentenced to seven and a half years in jail by a Kuala Lumpur court for an attempted murder of a police officer two years ago.

The judge Ahmad Kamar Jamaludin sentenced Naldiman Ali (42) who plead guilty to seven and a half years imprisonment since he was arrested on March 18, 2008, Bernama reported Monday.

Naldiman was accused of trying to kill corporal Zahiruddin Zainudin by stabbing on the Utara Selatan toll road near the Jalan Duta toll gate, Kuala Lumpur, at 1.30 am on March 18, 2008.
