INDONESIAN TEAM TO FACE CHINA IN SEMI FINALS
Jakarta, Mar 22 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian team will be facing top ranking China in the Under-19 Asian championship semifinals after defeating Korea 3-0.
In the competition in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Monday night mixed doubles Ricky Karanda/Della Destiara rose to victory after being left behind in the first game defeating Kang Ji Wook/Choi Hye In 13-21, 21-18, and 21-16.
The success was followed by men`s singles Evert Sekamta who beat Kim Min Ki in straight sets 21-19, 21-14.
Meanwhile Indonesia`s men`s doubles Jones Ralfi Jansen/Dandi Prabudita beat Korea 3-0 after overpowering Kang Ji Wook/Choi Seung Il 21-18, 21-12.
In the big four rounds, Indonesia will face top ranking and last year`s runner up China.
