Nationwide meeting on internal security held

(KPL) The general security police department, ministry of public security organised on 30 June the first nationwide meeting on internal security under the chairmanship of Mr. Thongbanh Sengamphone, Minister of Public Security.

The main purpose of the meeting aimed to review and estimate the activities
of the general security police department on safeguarding the party and
state organisation in the central and local level.

The meeting also aimed to determine the future works for the general
security police department. During the function, the participants have
respectively commented to report and future plan.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Thongbanh Sengamphone expressed
congratulations to all participants for their contributions and great
efforts made in their assigned works and he also asked them to continue to
keep their own traditional spirit and hard working to ensure the political
security of the country.
