Micro finance management regulation disseminated
(KPL) The Bank of the Lao PDR organised on 30 June a meeting to disseminate the regulation on management of micro finance , co-operative farming and saving fund.
The one day function was chaired by Mr. Bounsong Sommalavanh, Deputy
Governor of the central Bank and was attended by representatives of
ministries, organisations, NGOs, and saving fund groups.
The main objective of the meeting was to create the regulations for
management of micro finance, co-operative farming and saving fund. This was
a part of Central Bank activities to control the activities of micro
finance.
The regulation creating aimed to provide a number of facilities to the
people who established and operated micro finance business.
