"It is the third operation, conducted by Ambon municipal government in cooperation with Vlissingen city in the Netherlands. The medicines and the operation cost are borne by the Vlissingen municipal government," Soukotta said.

He said the urological operation would take place at Tulehu public hospital (RSU Tulehu) in Salahutu subdistrict on the island of Ambon.

The team of doctors of Maluku origin from Vlissingen, is made up of eurologist Emilia Lucia Manuhuttu-Nanlohy,

"All of the doctors arrived in Ambon on Sunday, March 20, 2010, and patients started to register themselves since Monday for the free operation from Tuesday until Sunday, April 4, 2010," Soukotta said.

Therefore he called on the people of Ambon who would like to have the free operation to register themselves either directly to RSU Tulehu or at the nearby community health centers (Puskesmas).
