Dengue fever still spreads over Ton Pheuang

(KPL) The dengue fever has further spread over Ton Pheuang district, Bokeo province, a medical official of Epidemiological Division of Ton Pheuang district hospital said this week.

The outbreak of dengue fever started from early May to late last month in
Ban Viengsavanh, Ban Phonsavanh and Ban Ton Pheuang.

At present, more than 45 people were reported infected with dengue fever
and they are receiving treatment at district hospital.

The Provincial Public Health Division in collaboration with Ton Phueng
district hospital is launching a campaign by focusing on training local
officials to address sudden outbreak of dengue fever, and disseminating
information on preventing way to local people.

Health Service also urged local people sleeping under the chemical
impregnated mosquito nets.

This is a warning signal that the dengue fever will come back again so the
local residents should smash the mosquitoes breeding sources.
